Low Noise Amplifier 70MHz-7GHz Programmable 10/20/30/40dB Gain Broadband RF Amp Module TQP3M9037 Replacement
Description
Product Overview
This low-noise amplifier (LNA) is manufactured using advanced GaAs MMIC technology, covering an ultra-wide frequency range of 70MHz to 7GHz, and is available in gain versions of 10dB, 20dB, 30dB, and 40dB. It outperforms the mainstream TQP3M9037 in noise figure, linearity, compression point, bandwidth flatness, and stability, offering superior performance and cost-effectiveness, making it an ideal upgrade choice for RF front-end, communication systems, and test and measurement applications.
Features
1) A direct replacement for the TQP3M9037: Offers superior gain flatness, wider operating bandwidth, lower noise figure, and higher linearity, seamlessly replacing the TQP3M9037 and improving overall system performance.
2) Extremely low noise figure: Typical noise figure is only 0.65dB, effectively improving receiver sensitivity and suitable for weak signal amplification scenarios.
3) High linearity and high compression point: Output P1dB compression point +22.5dBm @2.6GHz; third-order intermodulation point OIP3 +33.5dBm (Pout=+5dBm/tone, Δf=1MHz). Ensures low distortion and high dynamic range even in large-signal environments.
4) Ultra-wide operating frequency band: Continuous coverage from 70MHz to 7GHz, usable in various applications including VHF/UHF, L/S/C bands without module replacement.
5) Unconditiona stability: No self-oscillation under any load and source impedance conditions, ensuring safer use and simplified design.
6) Highly integrated and compact package: Dimensions 35×27×12.2mm (excluding SMA connector), weight only 30g, facilitating integration into compact devices or modules.
7) Wide voltage supply, low power consumption: Supply voltage +5V (typical), operating current 70-140mA (depending on gain version). Note: Supply voltage must not exceed 7V, otherwise permanent damage may occur.
8) Robust and reliable interface: The RF port is an SMA female connector (external screw, internal hole); the positive power supply terminal is a through-hole capacitor, and the negative terminal is a grounding post. The positive and negative terminals are clearly marked by laser silkscreen to prevent reverse connection.

Precautions
1. Power Supply Limitations: A stable +5V DC power supply must be used. The voltage must not exceed 7V, otherwise the internal components of the module will be permanently damaged. It is recommended to connect a 10μF and a 0.1μF capacitor in parallel at the power output for filtering.
2. RF Input Limitations: The maximum RF input power is +22dBm. Do not overdrive.
3. Electrostatic Discharge Protection: The module is a high-impedance device. Please comply with ESD protection specifications during operation and avoid direct contact with the RF port and power supply pins.
4. Wiring and Installation: Use SMA to N-type or SMA to SMA cables for RF input/output; connect the positive power supply to the feedthrough capacitor lead (marked "+" or red); connect the negative power supply to the ground terminal (marked "GND" or black).
5. Heat Dissipation: The module has low power consumption, but good airflow is recommended for prolonged operation in high-temperature environments.
